Transcript [00:00] it's a good thing that there are people [00:02] in America like my guest today president [00:05] of the National Religious broadcasters [00:08] Troy Miller who is willing to go to [00:10] Israel and speak firsthand with not just [00:14] government and military officials to [00:16] find out the truths going on that the [00:18] media is not reporting about this war [00:21] but also just speak to regular people on [00:23] the street civilians in in Israel ask [00:26] asking them what do you think about [00:28] what's going on and more importantly [00:30] maybe for the fate and future of America [00:33] if you believe in biblical truths which [00:35] I do that says God says Those Who bless [00:39] Israel his people he will bless those [00:41] who curse Israel his people he will [00:44] curse more importantly what these Jewish [00:47] people in Israel are hearing about this [00:50] Joe Biden Administration leading America [00:53] down a path of turning from Israel and [00:57] in the end leading America down a very [01:00] perilous path in terms of God's grace [01:04] and ongoing support So Troy Miller I [01:06] want to thank you so much for being back [01:08] on Bold and blunt it is great to have [01:11] you here Cheryl thanks for having me [01:13] it's good to be with you and it's good [01:14] to be home from Israel right you just [01:16] came back what did you see what did you [01:19] hear um what's the latest going on from [01:21] the ground on [01:23] Israel yeah we did we just got back from [01:26] Israel we had a 10-day uh solidarity and [01:29] fact finding tour and you know there's [01:32] still quite a bit going on there of [01:34] course they're in full uh uh offense [01:37] down in Rafa trying to finish off the [01:40] last remnants of uh Hamas that has dug [01:43] in I I think Cheryl one of the messages [01:46] that we really heard uh loud and clear [01:49] uh from Israel from both what I would [01:51] say uh civilian populations all the [01:54] different folks we met with and uh from [01:57] government officials is the fact that [01:59] they really feel that America or at [02:01] least the American government um has [02:04] really abandoned them at this point [02:05] Israel somewhat feels that they're on [02:07] their own in this battle and that's a [02:09] really sad commentary and we were there [02:11] to reinforce that there are uh uh [02:14] hundreds of thousands of Christians [02:16] across this country who support them and [02:18] are praying for them on a daily basis [02:20] you know when I went in um March and [02:22] April that was the common theme of many [02:24] people I spoke with there as well both [02:26] civilians and in the government that [02:28] they're feeling very much alone [02:30] and look at what Joe Biden just did with [02:32] that supposed three-phase peace plan and [02:36] the details of it which basically again [02:38] throw Israel under the boss they are [02:41] definitely feeling [02:43] alone oh yeah that that's exactly right [02:46] I mean I I you know we know this [02:48] President is pandering to the far left [02:51] of his party but uh some of this just [02:53] doesn't even make Common Sense how how [02:55] can you come up with a peace plan that [02:58] leaves a hostile Force still right on [03:01] Israel's border and then you want it [03:03] that force to be [03:04] legitimized as a as a country and and [03:08] look and that's just the southern that's [03:10] just Gaza down in the in the South uh we [03:13] don't even hear in the news what's going [03:15] on up in the north we on this trip [03:17] actually went up to Samaria uh which you [03:20] know is what what the world likes to [03:22] call the West Bank but it's Judea and [03:24] Samaria it's the land that God gave [03:25] Israel we were in Samaria we met with [03:28] just a number of people to rocket [03:30] attacks that are happening there daily [03:32] most of those border towns have been [03:34] completely abandoned because it's just [03:36] it's just unsafe to be and and that [03:38] doesn't even show up on our news here so [03:41] the the Jewish people are sort of tens [03:44] of thousands of them have been displaced [03:46] on the north and south southern borders [03:48] and they're kind of refugees in their [03:50] own Nation are they still living in [03:52] hotels in [03:54] Jerusalem they are they're living in [03:56] hotels all across the nation we met with [03:58] the min minister of Tourism and their uh [04:02] their Department their agency has been [04:04] tked with this whole relocation of all [04:07] of these as you would call them as these [04:09] refugees that have been displaced uh [04:11] from their various towns and that I [04:14] think he told us there was well over a [04:16] 100,000 of them uh that have been [04:19] scattered all across the country um and [04:22] again leading that with soldiers um [04:24] reservers who were training to go back [04:27] up north to help protect their their [04:30] communities and U they've moved their [04:32] families out it's just not safe one of [04:33] the uh folks there that we met with he [04:36] had a video of just the day before uh [04:39] from some security camera footage of [04:42] three missiles hitting his community uh [04:45] one one blew up a a part of a house one [04:48] blew up off in the street um and another [04:52] one hit kind of an abandoned building [04:54] but still uh could you imagine living in [04:56] that environment on a daily basis if you [04:58] have uh a family unbelievable [05:02] unbelievable so you as president of [05:05] National Religious broadcasters I know [05:07] your presence there must bring some [05:09] comfort to many um in the Jewish [05:11] community in the Jewish Nation but who [05:13] did you travel with and what group sort [05:16] of sponsored you or toured you through [05:18] and in the end what what was the endgame [05:21] what was the purpose of your [05:23] visit yeah this was really a group a um [05:28] a trip sponsored by us by the RB we put [05:30] this together uh and we really wanted to [05:33] have a a different kind of tour you know [05:35] lots of our folks have gone over in the [05:37] past and done the traditional Holy Land [05:39] Tour but this tour was about solidarity [05:43] and about fact finding so um our group [05:45] was made up of mainly media people folks [05:49] that that either run Christian Media or [05:51] or different forms of media so our group [05:54] was all media folks to go over and learn [05:57] so this was a mission to to learn and [06:00] get the truth out that's really going [06:01] there and and as we said to bring the [06:03] message of solidarity uh to the people [06:06] of Israel so we met with a number of uh [06:09] government officials we met with folks [06:11] from the knesset and a number of knesset [06:14] members um to bring that message across [06:17] to let them know that they're not alone [06:19] there are um as I said there are [06:22] thousands of churches across this [06:23] country that are praying for them on a [06:26] daily basis and there's Christian Media [06:28] um that is reporting the real news and [06:31] Reporting what's going on over there and [06:32] that that was the the purpose of our [06:34] trip to build that kind of solidarity [06:37] and are they getting that are they [06:38] getting that there is a very uh large [06:42] difference between this Administration [06:44] and the American people in terms of [06:46] support for [06:48] Israel they really are we met with again [06:51] a number of officials and we met with a [06:53] number of senior rabbis there and and it [06:56] was it was really good and refreshing to [06:59] hear from them um their gratitude that [07:03] the church was praying for them and that [07:06] the church is supporting them uh several [07:08] folks told me again as as with the last [07:11] trip but even more so on this trip they [07:13] feel like the evangelicals in America [07:16] are the only ones standing up for them [07:18] right now wow that's that's huge because [07:22] the whole world basically is watching [07:24] Israel right now and the whole world is [07:26] weighing in with an opinion and what it [07:28] looks like is pretty pretty much the [07:29] whole world even including sadly America [07:32] is turning against Israel and forcing [07:35] them to uh play this moral equivalency [07:38] game with Hamas the terror [07:40] group yeah that's right you know it's [07:44] you're right it's just it's a strange [07:46] moral equivalency that they're on [07:48] somehow on the same level as this this [07:50] terrorist group this barbaric terrorist [07:52] group at that um in there but also you [07:56] know the the other thing is they realize [07:57] not only they realize evangelic are [07:59] supporting them they also realize how [08:02] much the left has abandoned them I I [08:05] talked to a number of people and they'll [08:07] start with this kind of opening [08:08] statement you know oh oh I'm on the left [08:10] I'm a progressive [08:13] but but the people in America have lost [08:16] their minds do they know that if they [08:19] marched like that in in Gaza that they [08:21] would be stoned they would be shot they [08:23] would be thrown off buildings um and [08:26] they're really shocked about how much [08:28] the has abandoned them and not just [08:31] abandoned them have the left has taken a [08:33] very sharp anti-semitic turn um and [08:36] that's not going unnoticed in Israel so [08:39] do you think that that is being heard by [08:41] the Jewish communities in America who [08:44] traditionally traditionally vote [08:46] Democrat um to many on the rights [08:49] amazement right do you think October 7th [08:52] has awakened the Jewish community in [08:53] America and the anti-Semitism we've seen [08:56] on college campuses to not vote for Joe [08:59] Biden [09:01] I I think that that that they are coming [09:04] to an awareness that that not just the [09:07] the campuses that they've that that the [09:10] protests have gone on I think that was [09:12] really kind of the wakeup call [09:13] especially with these very hard left uh [09:16] universities but also I think the [09:18] mainstream media um has somewhat [09:22] abandoned in their support of the free [09:24] Palestine movement and that's again that [09:27] was a theme we heard over and over again [09:29] and it it's not just that these young [09:31] kids on college campuses but people that [09:34] they um supported as you said most of [09:37] the American Jewish people are are very [09:39] Progressive have voted Democrat voted [09:42] for far-left policies for a long time [09:44] and now they're feeling the people that [09:46] they supported um have really left them [09:48] alone on an island what's the word on [09:51] the hostages over there Troy did you [09:53] speak with officials in the no on [09:56] that so we we did speak with officials [09:59] in in the know on that and um and so [10:02] there's 125 hostages uh still being held [10:07] um they they hold out hope uh to get [10:11] those hostages returned but officials um [10:15] feel that maybe only 30 or 40 of those [10:18] are actually still alive um but they [10:21] would like to have have of course [10:23] everyone return to their family um um [10:26] regardless of the case they they're [10:28] hoping that they're statistics are [10:30] better than that um but they don't see [10:33] at any point that Hamas is is willing at [10:36] all to release any more of the hostages [10:39] do you think based on either your [10:41] personal opinion or discussions with [10:43] officials in the know and Israel and you [10:45] can couch it however you want do you [10:47] think that the hostages would have been [10:49] freed long ago if Israel had received [10:52] the support from America at least and [10:56] the International Community as well as [10:58] America at best for the last few months [11:00] in in doing what they wanted to do [11:02] entering Rafa and rooting out [11:05] Hamas oh I do I think without a doubt I [11:09] think that the uh uh certainly Europe's [11:12] you know switch in in in in not [11:16] supporting Israel but I think more so [11:17] the American turn uh really prolonged [11:21] the hostage released in the negotiations [11:23] I think if if we um and America in [11:27] particular would have continued to put [11:28] the pressure on Hamas um helped with [11:31] more Middle East pressure and European [11:34] pressure um I I think we would have all [11:37] of the hostages who are alive um um back [11:41] home by now that that is unbelievable [11:45] especially given there were what five or [11:47] six American hostages as [11:49] well correct correct that they American [11:52] hostages still being held uh as well and [11:56] yet I think what Israel felt and I think [11:59] what we've seen if you've seen some of [12:00] the latest uh videos coming out from the [12:03] Hamas leadership uh that the Americans [12:06] changing in their position uh really has [12:09] emboldened Hamas um and and caused them [12:13] to dig in they they're looking at being [12:15] rewarded for what happened on October [12:18] 7th and that's been their goal all along [12:21] any growing sense that you found among [12:23] the is Israeli people to basically bend [12:27] a little bit on eradicating Hamas just [12:30] to get the hostages back just to uh [12:32] bring about some sort of Peace even [12:34] though it's not really true peace do you [12:36] see any of the Jewish people sort of [12:39] wavering on their support for the [12:40] continuance of this [12:42] war well very small um most everybody [12:46] that we talk to and even just our [12:49] conversations with people on the street [12:51] were were very supportive very dug in [12:54] that Hamas cannot be allowed to continue [12:58] um the prevail [12:59] thought of course they want the hostages [13:02] back and the hostages need to to come [13:04] home but not in such a way that it [13:06] compromises Israel's longer term [13:09] security so people seem to be very firm [13:11] on that and and again it's not just [13:14] Hamas um because you have Hezbollah [13:17] who's doing a lot up in the north as [13:19] well and and there Israel still expects [13:22] I mean with the whole time we were there [13:24] um I would say they were very on edge [13:27] about a northern uh uh War opening up [13:31] they still feel like that's a [13:32] possibility and do they have the [13:34] Manpower and the M Munitions to take on [13:37] a war by [13:39] themselves uh as as they're still Waging [13:42] War against Hamas would they be able to [13:44] take on Hezbollah and Hamas [13:48] simultaneously well we we we asked that [13:50] question and I think they have Hamas in [13:53] such a a corner now such a point um that [13:57] they've actually you know started to [13:59] look at that northern border there and [14:03] um they certainly wouldn't want to take [14:05] it on alone and they certainly would [14:06] need us support for resupplies and [14:09] ammunition and those things they [14:11] couldn't do that without uh the the us [14:14] but Israel's resolve they're they [14:16] understand that they're they could be in [14:18] this alone um and and the country's [14:21] still very United on this so I I think [14:23] if the northern flank you know opened up [14:26] per se I think you would see another [14:28] round of of Israelis you know rushing to [14:32] go back into the military because I [14:34] think they understand that if they don't [14:36] protect their country possibly no one is [14:38] nobody's going to come to help them and [14:40] that makes this administration's actions [14:42] on Israel all the more disgusting in my [14:45] view and uh I I just want to finish with [14:48] this last question and I think I asked [14:50] this um last time we spoke on the heels [14:53] of your trip your first trip to Israel [14:56] what can Americans do what can Americans [14:58] in the Evangelical Community do or just [15:00] Americans in general to help Israel um [15:03] through these times right now because [15:05] our government sure [15:06] isn't well that's that's right first of [15:09] all if you have anybody any Jewish [15:11] communities in your in your towns or [15:13] cities uh I would just encourage pastors [15:16] and and people to reach out to those [15:18] communities and let them know uh that [15:20] you're supporting them you're praying [15:22] for them um we've also asked that if [15:24] you're uh in any Christian groups on any [15:27] of these college campuses um please [15:30] reach out to the Jewish students and let [15:33] them know they're not alone uh let them [15:35] know that you're there you support them [15:37] you're standing by them uh that's the [15:39] biggest thing I think that the Jewish [15:41] people need to hear and and that was [15:43] what one of the messages we were so [15:45] happy to be able to to take to them and [15:47] get in a number of uh Jewish media [15:49] Outlets to let the people know that look [15:52] there are there is a large large group [15:55] of people in America the evangelic [15:57] community that is supporting ing you [15:59] praying for you um and and they're [16:02] putting the pressure on to make sure
