Transcript [00:00] Well, hello. Hello. We're back with The [00:02] Vision and the Destiny Channel. We are [00:05] still live here at NRB and we have our [00:08] very own Troy Miller, the CEO of NRB. [00:12] One thing I love about Troy and his [00:14] family. He loves our country. He is [00:17] spiritfilled. He has a heart for Israel [00:20] and he is an amazing communicator and he [00:23] is all about communication. Welcome, [00:26] Troy, to the broadcast. And we have [00:28] Pastor Tracy Armstrong, our other [00:29] co-host. Welcome, Troy. Oh, thank you [00:31] guys for being It's great to be here. [00:33] Oh, amazing. Yeah. Well, this is such a [00:35] an event. I love walking around. The [00:38] spirit of the Lord is here. It's not [00:39] just a a business transaction, a bunch [00:41] of networks, but it's it's the presence [00:44] the presence of the Lord is here. So, [00:45] thank you for hosting this and what you [00:47] do. Yeah, this is an event. This is the [00:49] gathering of the body of Christ. This is [00:51] yeah, we're all focused in on [00:53] communications and broadcast and those [00:55] things because that's where God's called [00:57] us to be, but but down in the real part [01:01] that matters is this is the body of [01:03] Christ. So, it's great to see people at [01:05] Booth and all that, but it's also great [01:07] to see arms wrapped around one another, [01:09] praying for one another, praying for [01:11] this country and praying for the lost. [01:14] Yes. Amen. You know, I love NRB. I put [01:17] it on my calendar a year in advance and [01:19] I just count the days. It's almost like [01:21] coming back to our prom or coming to our [01:24] homecoming with all of our friends. It's [01:26] a big family. It really is. And it's [01:28] just so much excitement in the air and [01:31] everybody's just happy and it's just [01:33] such a glorious time. What's God put on [01:35] your heart for this year? Well, a number [01:37] of things for this year because, you [01:39] know, look, we're we're in a really [01:41] unique time in human history. Yeah, this [01:44] is a time um where where no other time [01:48] have we been able to communicate [01:51] um as [01:53] easily. It may sound funny as freely. [01:56] Yes. And and as widely as we can today, [02:00] we can take the thing that's in our [02:02] pocket, our phones. Yes. And we can [02:04] instantly connect to anybody around the [02:07] globe, and we can be talking to people [02:09] in any of the continents, anywhere. And [02:12] so today is just it's just such a unique [02:14] time. Plus, it's a unique time because [02:17] it's available to all of us. It's not [02:19] just available to a few people. It's not [02:22] out of economic reach for people. It's [02:24] available to all of us. And that has [02:26] opened up so many opportunities and so [02:29] much innovation especially in the [02:31] Christian space. Yes, that's excellent [02:33] because in there are there's a design in [02:36] the governments of the world to actually [02:39] make sure there's a phone in everyone's [02:40] hand. So if that's true, I mean we have [02:43] billions and billions of new viewers [02:44] that are going to come online in the [02:46] next next couple years. So this is [02:50] equipping people to say I can do it. I [02:52] can do it. I love the I can that I feel [02:54] when I walk around. Yeah. And that's the [02:56] great spirit, isn't it? Isn't that the [02:58] spirit? The I can spirit. I I feel like, [03:00] you know, not to get too political, but [03:02] I just feel like ever since the [03:04] election, and maybe it's just mostly cuz [03:06] it's behind us. Feel free to get [03:08] political if you want. Well, mainly [03:11] because I think for Christians, they [03:12] feel free it's behind us. Plus, look, [03:14] I'll be honest. We realize that we have [03:16] a friendly administration uh to work [03:19] with. President Trump spoke at NRB a [03:21] year ago as a candidate. Yes, I was [03:22] there. Yeah. He made a number of [03:25] promises at that convention. He's [03:27] delivered on almost all of those right [03:29] now. Every one of those uh already. But [03:32] look, look, it's a it's it's a it's [03:35] almost a revival. I don't know if you [03:37] all saw it this morning, but there was [03:38] an article today in the New York Times, [03:40] and it said religion is back. Religion [03:44] is back. And it's the article, and I [03:46] only got to read the first few [03:47] paragraphs of it. But, you know, there [03:49] was a lot of talk about us being in a [03:51] post-Christian, you know, America. A [03:53] post-Christian America. Well, according [03:55] to this article, um the exodus from [03:58] church has not only halted. Wow. It has [04:02] flipped. And now we have a a mass return [04:07] or going to church. And I think that [04:09] really signifies the hunger that people [04:12] have in their hearts, the grace that [04:14] God's given us and he's showing us in [04:16] this time. And it comes with a lot of [04:18] responsibility for us as Christians and [04:20] Christian communicators. I think that's [04:22] excellent. I've I've I've also heard [04:24] that there the millennials the number [04:25] one choice of music is Christian music. [04:28] There is such a revival happening in the [04:31] in the world and in America. Yeah. And [04:34] we and just to expand on that, we had [04:36] some recent surveys that older Christian [04:39] millennials. So those who are in that [04:40] that because that's a big group, but the [04:42] older group, they're in their 40s. Okay? [04:45] They're in their 40s. They're not kids [04:46] anymore. We thought of them as kids, but [04:48] they're in their 40s and they're they're [04:51] realizing that the propaganda that the [04:53] world gave them that the that the [04:55] humanism and the socialism and all those [04:58] other isms that were out there left them [05:01] empty and and and they don't have peace. [05:04] They don't know what their meaning is [05:06] and purpose is. They're looking now at [05:08] their families and they understand what [05:10] kind of world am I giving my children? [05:12] What kind of world? And they're one of [05:14] the groups that is that are coming to um [05:18] find out information like what does it [05:20] mean? What do these Christians have? Why [05:22] are they so happy? Why are they [05:23] comfortable? Yeah, that's outstanding. [05:26] Well, you know, Troy, it's the anointing [05:28] that destroys the yoke. It's the [05:29] anointing. And I believe when they are [05:32] around the anointing and the presence of [05:34] the Lord, they can't have they just [05:37] can't help but wonder. But I want to [05:39] share with you. I I've noticed in this [05:41] season that the Lord is really [05:45] catapulting the Christian media content. [05:48] I'm noticing that you're seeing a lot of [05:51] the fake news, if you will, being [05:54] exposed and that we're we're coming more [05:56] towards the forefront. Speak to that a [05:58] little bit. Yeah. No, absolutely. So the [06:00] the the other thing I'll just lean a [06:02] little bit on just the entire um [06:05] election process entire candidacy that [06:07] went went on the the electioning you [06:09] know that really changed and people have [06:12] you especially in the Christian [06:13] community they have known for a long [06:15] time that the legacy media and the [06:17] mainstream media that journalism is [06:20] dead. the idea of journalism where I [06:22] give people all the facts about an issue [06:25] and that and then I think and know that [06:27] people are smart enough their intellect [06:29] is enough for them to make decisions and [06:31] form their own own opinions. Now we just [06:34] have opinionism and propaganda that's [06:37] been pushed out over and over again. And [06:39] and and look, people don't like to be [06:41] attacked. None of us like to be [06:43] attacked. And over the last several [06:44] years, Christianity has been attacked. [06:47] It has been attacked. It has been [06:49] belittled. in media, entertainment [06:52] media, uh the Christians are always the [06:54] fools. They're always the bigots, [06:56] censored. They're they're always Well, [06:58] then there's the whole censorship uh [07:01] apparatus. And let me talk about that [07:02] cuz you talked about that this for a [07:04] second. I want to build on that. What we [07:07] recognize with all of the the gifts and [07:09] technology and stuff God's given us is [07:11] all great. Yeah. But the but the end of [07:13] the day, what we all have to realize, [07:15] we're in a spiritual war, right? We are [07:17] in a spiritual war. And and look, Satan [07:21] would love uh uh more than ever. Francis [07:25] Schaefer said one time that Satan would [07:27] love to have all our communities be [07:29] happy, safe places, us concentrating on [07:32] where our kids go to college and all of [07:34] those things because then we just forget [07:36] about God. Then we just wouldn't need [07:38] God. Right. Right. But Satan has to get [07:40] the Christian community out of the way. [07:42] Yes. He has to move. That's the that we [07:44] are we are what God said the gates of [07:46] hell will not stand against the church [07:49] and and and and we're supposed to be on [07:52] the move not Satan against us. We're [07:54] supposed to be on the move. That's the [07:56] responsibility we have to take up. Well, [07:58] we're taking over the airwaves. I'm [07:59] going to speak that and I'm I'm going to [08:01] I'm going to speak that we are taking [08:03] over the airwaves in Jesus name. And I [08:06] think the responsibility of that is the [08:08] Bible says we're the restraining ones [08:10] with the Holy Spirit. We restrain. We [08:12] hold back. And if we don't like stand [08:14] up, we won't hold back. People say, [08:16] "Well, you know, I'm not going on [08:17] TikTok. I'm not doing any of these [08:19] social media places. I'm not doing any [08:20] of that." I'm like, "Well, we all have [08:22] to be on there. Otherwise, we've just [08:23] given freedom to those those messages, [08:26] the narrative without actually being a [08:28] resistant one, right?" And and look, the [08:31] left always, especially the left, [08:33] progressive Christianity, always tries [08:35] to use this um this empathy, this this [08:38] sympathy empathy kind of argument [08:40] against us, right? And they always say, [08:42] "Oh, but you have to love your [08:44] neighbor." Let me ask this question. The [08:47] most unloving thing you could do to a [08:50] person [08:51] is not care about where they spend [08:53] eternity. Come on. The most unloving [08:56] thing you can do to a person is not care [08:58] about where they're going to spend [08:59] eternity. That's right. What good does [09:01] it do us if people look and we're called [09:03] Christians have been the forefront if [09:05] you know your Christian history. We are [09:07] the forefront of charity in the in the [09:11] world. Not any no other religion does [09:14] the charity that Christianity has done [09:16] around the world. No other religion has [09:17] brought education has brought has moved [09:20] medicine forward healthcare all of these [09:22] things. No other movement has done that. [09:25] Yeah, but at the end of the day, if we [09:28] all we're worried about is affirming [09:30] somebody's happiness and pleasure right [09:32] now, their sexuality or their or their [09:36] um uh racial identities or whatever it [09:39] is out there, if all we're worried about [09:40] is affirming those things today so they [09:43] can be happy and peaceful to spend [09:46] eternity under God's wrath, then we we [09:49] of all people should be cursed, right? [09:52] We need we need an eternal perspective [09:54] ourselves as believers so that we can [09:56] help everyone reach that place. That's [09:58] excellent, Troy. I love that. Amen. What [10:01] would you like? Is there anything on [10:02] your heart that you'd like to share with [10:03] the viewers? You've shared so much. You [10:05] have so much wisdom in you. Is there [10:07] anything that you feel that maybe our [10:10] next generation needs to hear? Well, [10:12] look, I look I the thing I want to share [10:15] the most to people and kind of building [10:16] on what we just talked. We have to come [10:19] against the spirit of fear. Yeah. We [10:21] have to come against that spirit. We [10:24] have to come against that spirit that [10:25] we're afraid to be ashamed. Um you know [10:28] that that look the the chief of the [10:30] Hindu I am not ashamed of the gospel of [10:32] Jesus Christ. That has to be our mantra. [10:35] That has to be the top thing that we [10:37] think about. We have to not worry about [10:39] somebody's going to blast us on social [10:41] media or somebody's going to say, "Oh, [10:43] you Christians are just trying to force [10:45] Christianity." We can't force [10:47] Christianity on anybody. That's what the [10:48] Holy Spirit does. We just are obedient [10:51] to God. That's what we need to be. And [10:53] so all of you out there today, we live [10:55] in this great great time where all of [10:58] you are communicators. All of you have a [11:01] chance to influence people in your life. [11:03] There was a recent study that said the [11:05] average person on social media has a [11:07] network of over 480 people. Wow. The [11:10] average church in America is around 150. [11:13] That means you have an influence two to [11:15] three times the size of the average [11:17] local church. use that influence for the [11:20] glory of God and for the gospel. Yes. [11:23] Excellent. And I and I think that that's [11:25] that's empowering. People need to feel [11:27] empowered that they can do that and to [11:30] give the message that God's put on their [11:31] heart. And sometimes it's as simple as [11:33] they read something this morning and [11:35] they can just write a post or they can [11:37] just do a little video and they are now [11:39] releasing the gospel and preaching the [11:41] gospel. Even if you share something [11:42] online, just simply push share to your [11:45] your 450 people and that is preaching [11:48] the gospel. That's right. Pass it along. [11:49] And you don't realize who's watching [11:51] you. You don't realize who you're making [11:53] a difference for. They may not comment. [11:56] You may not know, but you are making a [11:58] difference for someone out there. Amen. [12:00] Amen. Excellent. Well, Troy, this is [12:02] wonderful. Anything um to the young [12:04] filmmaker, the young creative? I know [12:07] you just you just released a lot, but [12:09] there's there's I feel like there's a [12:11] wave of filmmakers that are that are [12:13] looking for someone to go, we give you [12:15] permission, let's run. We give you [12:17] permission run. [12:19] I look, I am so excited about the young [12:22] generation because they grew up in this [12:24] world. They grew up in this digital [12:26] environment that the using these tools [12:28] is second nature to them. They don't [12:30] have to go figure this all out and they [12:32] are doing some of the most creative [12:34] things out there and they can do go run [12:37] do you know take it don't don't let [12:40] anybody else tell you or shame you out [12:42] of doing this God has given you a talent [12:45] use it for his glory. Awesome. Thank you [12:47] Troy. Awesome. So this has been the [12:51] vision and we're excited. This was been [12:53] a wonderful I am encouraged. I love [12:55] media. To be here with Troy and to know [12:58] that NRB is going to continue to grow [13:00] and have leadership like this. Thank [13:02] you. The kingdom of God is going [13:03] forward.
